Every Spring Season the SKIVE FESTIVAL open its doors at the iconic “THE MANSION” located in West Village Manhatthan, Ideal Glass Studios: A hidden art cultural gallery in Manhatthan well known for hosting only the best artists of New York City.

The festival is founded and owned by Ana Veronica Lucena, a Venezuelan - Japanese producer who moved to the city only 3 years ago in 2019 with the goal of being an incentive and example for other women to join the music industry as a Music Producer and not just as a Singer, or a Model what is the rol that mostly of the women is related on the Music Industry.

Ana Veronica Lucena - well know as KYKY - Has been archiving incredible goals inside of the Music Industry in a short period of time, like Collaborating with the U.S rapper Dex Lauper and the Venezuelan Rapper Convicto de Musa becoming the first woman in producing Hip-Hop in Latin America and United States and reaching about 5 million views on her artists YouTube topics and becoming the first woman in producing those genres for Platinum Studios and Manhatthan Beach Recording, the most exclusive recording studios in New York City.

Even when this doble goal; That a woman from Latin America, and also immigrant became the world first female producer for those genres of being internationally recognized in plenty 2022 is a good question to ask ourselves and our society. Ask about the fact that only 2% of the world producers are woman. We can see the inequality on the industry because it’s a radical number, under the 10% in a million of producers, as the multimillion company BEATSTARS said in the declaration earlier this year.

Yes, in plenty 2022 only the 2% of the producers are woman, and yes, Ana Veronica Lucena is the first one to be international recognized !!! Were glad and happy about it! And we hope that KYKY can be a key for opening more possibilities for gender equality in our generation.
